Logitech Cordless Comfort Duo Review

Logitech is one of the most innovative companies around. They have been in the market for years and always come up with high quality products for consumers. Last week we reviewed the Navigator Duo wireless mouse/keyboard combo. Today we shift our focus into the Logitech Cordless Comfort Duo.

The Logitech Cordless Comfort Duo shipped to us in the Logitech sample box and was not damaged via UPS. The front of the box displays the combo and the back has some information regarding the product.

When you purchase this cordless mouse/keyboard setup, you will receive the following things:

  • Wireless Keyboard
  • Wireless Mouse
  • Software and Manual
  • Arm rest
  • Two AA batteries
  • Mouse
  • Receiver with PS/2 to USB connector

Bundled

Specifications

  • Comfortable split-key keyboard
  • Cordless freedom through digital radio technology
  • Customizable, keyboard-based access to any application, including email and multimedia
  • Comfortable, contoured mouse shape that fits snugly in right hand
  • Windows and Macintosh compatible

The keyboard we have here is black in color and is very cool in style. It has a funny shape and feel to it than regular keyboards but feels comfortable if you know how to type with two hands on the keyboard.

Again one of the strong points in the Logitech line of keyboards is the easy access buttons that allows you to play music, lower the volume, open your Internet browser and more.

I love these

The rear of the keyboard has two flaps that allow the keyboard to sit up higher than usual. They are generously built on the sides. Your battery slot is also at the rear of the keyboard.

Shots of the mouse and receiver. The mouse feels exactly like the same in the Navigator Duo setup. They even move the same way.

Software

Logitech includes Mouseware software and keyboard software like the Navigator Duo. You can change settings and button configurations.

Using it

I have used the Logitech Cordless Comfort Duo for about a week and I can say that it is a good keyboard/mouse setup. More like the Navigator Duo but with a black color scheme. The keyboard felt comfortable and wasn’t really noisy. I like the easy access buttons as they help you save time from picking up the mouse.
The mouse has the same tracking feel as the one on the Logitech Navigator Duo setup. It wasn’t as good as the MX700 mouse and you can tell it wasn’t as powerful when moving. I also had the same problem reaching the scroll wheel. It was too high up for my liking.

Conclusion

The Logitech Cordless Comfort Duo is a good combo. It’s comfortable and is very easy to use. Installation is very easy and black color scheme has nice quality. You can feel confident when using this combo.

I rate the Logitech Cordless Comfort Duo a…

9/10!
